I collaborated with cinematographer Leif Huron and actor Jon Cole to produce an original short film. As writer and first time director, I got to learn so much about the process of making a film from beginning to end!
The short appeared in its first film festival, the Twin Cities Film Festival, in October 2020. We were lucky enough to win first place in the Bill Murray Comedy Award, chosen by Bill Murray himself!
We also won Best Ensemble, Best First Time Filmmaker, and Festival Director’s Choice for Best Western Short at the 2021 Cowpokes Intl’ Film Festival, a festival focusing on Western Genre work.
