Dramaturgy

I occasionally work as a freelance dramaturg, and generally take it as a part of my mission to support other artists in the creation of original writing.

Here’s a few recent projects:

• I acted as dramaturg to Patrick Costello during the development of The Holes are Alive, his immersive garden tour made for the Brooklyn Botanical Gardens (September 2024).
  
  
• As the Dramaturg for Jude Sandy’s production of At The Wedding by Bryna Turner at Swarthmore College, I wrote about the play as a very free adaptation of Coleridge’s The Rime of the Ancient Mariner. (February 2024).
  
  
• I wrote about my experience at Adriano Shaplin’s divine play for two audience members, Spiritual Experience, still running in Philadelphia as of Summer 2025.
